and the same distance to the handlebars as your stock seat.

The
Ultimate Midrider seat installs exactly like your stock
seat.
Our
passenger seat installs with a new supplied
bracket and the existing rear bolt in the fender (no modification)

stock passenger seat will not
fit with our new rider seat and your stock rider seat
will not fit with our new
passenger seat.

Our MIDRIDER is designed so you sit in
the seat, not on the seat.

The Royal Star MIDRIDER is 17 inches
wide and will sit you at the same height as your stock
seat.

Rider
backrest, removable and fold down

For
the Midrider seat we have designed a
new removable, fully adjustable, fold
down rider backrest that is mounted in
the front of passenger seat.

Therefore,
to have our rider backrest you will need
our passenger seat on your bike as the
passenger seat has the rider backrest mounting hardware
built into it.

All
Royal Star passenger seats have the rider backrest bracket
built in so you can add the rider backrest anytime.

Ultimate
removable rider backrest
- Pad measures 7" high by 10" wide by 1.5"
thick and is built using the same memory foam as
our seats.
- Infinite
tilt to match your back angle.
- Folds down forward for easy on and off your motorcycle.
- Adjustment forward and back is more than 2 inches.
- Adjusts with a thumb screw while you're riding.
- No need to remove the seat or use a wrench.

The
Ultimate passenger seat is 14 inches
wide with comfort to spare and fits with all passenger
backrest sissy bars.

The Ultimate passenger backrest pad for
the tall bar measures 8" wide x
10" high x 1-1/2" thick and the optional pad
measures 12" wide x 8" high x 2" thick

Our
passenger backrest pad bolts right on
to your Yamaha sissy bar.

The passenger backrest pad comes with stainless steel
screws and fits on your stock Yamaha sissy bar, other
make sissy bar pads also available.

RoyalStar Rider Backrest
Our
rider backrest is removable, fully adjustable and folds
down. It mounts into the passenger seat.
It
has an optional detachable rider backrest storage
pouch with zipper and rain flap, that measures
9 inches x 6 inches.
The
pouch must be ordered together with

Water
resistant but not waterproof
Most
motorcycle seats are built with a sheet
of plastic between the seat cover and
the foam, this is to prevent the water
from going through the cover stitching
into the foam.
However, the sheet of plastic tends to
holds all the heat in the seat cover so
we do not use this method.
Our seats will disperse the seat
cover heat through the foam and your butt
will have a cooler ride.
The trade off for this is our Ultimate
seats are not completely waterproof.
A Vinyl seat will let water in through
the stitching and Leather will do the
same and also soak through the hide if
it gets really wet.
A rain cover should be used to prevent
water from seeping through the stitches
into the comfort foam.
We
recommend you always cover your seats
with our Ride-on
waterproof cover when sitting or riding
in the rain.
Our
covers will also protect your seats from
the suns damaging rays.

Leather
Versus Vinyl
We
have discontinued our leather seat production,
a leather option is no longer available
In my opinion, there are
no advantages with a leather seat on a
motorcycle.
Most people cannot visually tell the difference
between our premium Vinyl and Leather
unless they are side by side and then
it needs to be pointed out which is which.
Neither Leather nor Vinyl breathes
except through the stitching. Neither
seats, Vinyl or Leather are waterproof.
A Vinyl seat will let water in through
the stitching and Leather will do the
same and also soak through the hide if
it gets really wet.
Durability is similar but our premium
Vinyl will hold its shape and new look
longer than Leather.
I
recommend you always cover your seats
with our Ride-on
waterproof cover when sitting
or riding in the rain.
I believe our premium Vinyl seat is the
best overall value.
