This is why we build a Lowrider seat and a Bigboy seat. Which
seat suits you best depends on your height, weight and leg length.
We strive to fit you in the correct seat for your size.
The
Bigboy seat is designed for heavy and or tall riders.
The
1300 Retro model Bigboy is 17 inches wide and is built one
inch higher and one inch further back than your stock seat.
If
you are under 220 lbs. you will sit one inch further back
than your stock seat.
If
you are around 240 lbs you will sit in the same position
to the handle bars as your stock seat depending on your butt
size.
If
you are 250 lbs or over you will sit a little closer to the
handlebars than your stock seat depending on your butt size.
The
Bigboy model seating position is designed for riders 240 lbs.
or over or if you have long legs, 34 inch inseam or more.
Our
rider backrest option is available with the Bigboy seat and
when used as a solo it is removable but with the passenger seat
in place the rider backrest can not be removed without removing
the passenger seat.
Ultimate
removable rider backrest
- Pad measures 7" high by 10" wide by 1.5" thick
and is built using the same memory foam as our seats.
- Infinite tilt to match your back angle.
- Folds down forward for easy on and off your motorcycle.
- Adjustment forward and back is more than 2 inches.
- Adjusts with a thumb screw while your riding.
- No need to remove the seat or use a wrench.
The
Ultimate passenger seat (put them in comfort
heaven) is 14 inches wide and is made to
fit with all passenger backrests sissybars.
The
Ultimate passenger backrest pad measures
12" wide x 8" high and sits your passenger 10 degrees
straighter than the stock pad, this helps eliminate
back fatigue on those long rides.
The
pad comes with stainless steel screws and fits on your Standard
or Deluxe Hondaline sissybar and is available for any other
make sissybar.

Our
rider backrest option is available for our Bigboy model seat
and is removable when used as a solo seat.
With the passenger seat installed the rider backrest
can not be removed without first removing the passenger seat.

Water
resistant but not waterproof
Most
motorcycle seats are built with a sheet of plastic
between the seat cover and the foam, this is to
prevent the water from going through the cover stitching
into the foam.
However, the sheet of plastic tends to holds all
the heat in the seat cover so we do not use this
method.
Our seats will disperse the seat cover heat
through the foam and your butt will have a cooler
ride.
The trade off for this is our Ultimate seats are
not completely waterproof.
A Vinyl seat will let water in through the stitching
and Leather will do the same and also soak through
the hide if it gets really wet.
A rain cover should be used to prevent water from
seeping through the stitches into the comfort foam.
We
recommend you always cover your seats with our Ride-on
waterproof cover when sitting or riding in the
rain.
Our
covers will also protect your seats from the suns
damaging rays.
Leather
Versus Vinyl
We
have discontinued our leather seat production, a
leather option is no longer available
In my opinion, there are no advantages
with a leather seat on a motorcycle.
Most people cannot visually tell the difference
between our premium Vinyl and Leather unless they
are side by side and then it needs to be pointed
out which is which. Neither Leather nor
Vinyl breathes except through the stitching. Neither
seats, Vinyl or Leather are waterproof.
A Vinyl seat will let water in through the stitching
and Leather will do the same and also soak through
the hide if it gets really wet.
Durability is similar but our premium Vinyl will
hold its shape and new look longer than Leather.
I
recommend you always cover your seats with our
Ride-on waterproof cover
when sitting or riding in the rain.
I believe our premium Vinyl seat is the best overall
value.
