miles and I could only get about fifteen miles

Been meaning to email you for
a while but I've been busy.
I bought both seats for my '97 Valkyrie Standard
a few years ago and have never looked back. The
best investment I have made on my bike and the
wife agrees. The difference between the stock
seats and yours are like night and day - I can't
emphasize that enough. Long distances are no problem,
even for my wife who would not ride very far before
getting your seats. I have easily done over 800
miles in a day and I am not the IronButt type.
They are just comfortable seats.
Again thanks for making such a good product. I
will eventually add another bike to the stable
and the first thing I'll do is get Ultimate seats
for it, too.

Des, I received my Valkyrie
Ultimate Seat yesterday and am very impressed
with the fit and finish. Installation was very
straight forward and easy. Your comment about
sitting in the seat and not on it is right on,
I had been having problems with my hips when
I drove, I put it down to old age but magically
once I started to drive with your seat I was
astounded, normally after 1 hour of riding I
could barely walk but now I can dance a jig
if I so please. Thanks again this is a great
product.

I just wanted to drop you a

service that your company provides. I have a
complete set of your seats on my Valk Interstate
and Rune. I called on Saturday and spoke with
a very nice lady whose name is Leslie. I explained
I was having a problem with the post that extends
out of my seat on the Rune. To my surprise I
received a new post in the mail on Monday and
my problem is now history. Your company, product
and personnel are the absolute best in the business
unlike some other large name seat company that
sells you a product and does not want to hear
about any problem you may have with it. You

I bought an Ultimate Low Rider
for my 1998 Valkyrie Tour in December 2008, I
have ridden 25K on this seat and LOVE it. Ultimate
puts the rest to shame the seat lives up to the
name. I have owned Corbin, or ConcreteSeat. Mustang
which is a good seat but the Ultimate is just
that the Ultimate seat. Thank You for such a Great
Product.

The seat carries absolutely its name
with honor.
I live in Norway, and this summer I laid out on a ride
through Europe with my Valkyrie.
7000 miles and 12 countries. 14 days riding. Average 500
miles per day.
With this seat the whole trip a delight!
I would not be able to complete this ride with another
bike or another seat.
You have every reason to be
proud of this "ultimate" product.

wife and I enjoy the new seats. I purchased a 4 piece
Big Boy set with covers and armrest for a Honda Valkyrie.
We have made a couple of 100 mile trips and look forward
to making a longer trip now that we can ride in comfort

a pic or two. This is the nicest day we've had in a while,
now we have the pollen wrapping everything up.
You recall we discussed the fitment of your seats on
the California Sidecar trike kit for the Valk Interstate.
You assured me of the fit. YOU WERE MORE THAN RIGHT.
You made the seat for this kit!! Couldn't be a better
fit if you'd tried hard. And the design engineers at
Corbin had no idea if theirs would work for me.....can
you believe that. I've bought three of their seats over
the years for the GoldWings and Valkyries I've owned.
I wish I'd sat on one of yours a long time ago. I can't
believe a company can't tell me if their seat will fit
something or not.
Anyway...thanks a lot and here are the pics.....(check
the fit around the seat cutout on the body...amazing).

Des - as you know I've had my Ultimate Seat on my Valk
for several years and I've logged a lot of miles on it.
You really appreciate the Ultimate Seat on long trips.
Last year I went on an AMA tour riding all of Route 66
from Chicago to Santa Monica. By the time I got back to
Atlanta, more than 6,600 miles were covered. The comfort
of the Ultimate Seat on long trips is fantastic and the
best measure of it construction!

Hi
Bridget, thought it only fair that I gave you some feedback
now that my seat has arrived, although in fairness I
guess you get it all the time, so it should come as no
surprise that I am delighted with the seat. I am so comfortable
and the backrest is a godsend. I now have three of my
friends all very covetous of the seat and will imagine
that once they have convinced themselves that it is a
good buy will be making orders before too long themselves.

My Valk seats came in yesterday as projected.
WOW, they look great and ride even better!
I am astounded at the robust appearance and
the comfort that the seats provide right out
of the box. They were a cinch to put on; took
about 5 minutes. I really like the way they
accent my Valk - classy! I only got to ride
about 15 miles on them after putting them on,
but I could feel the difference they made immediately.
I truly did not want to get off the bike. I
can't wait to amble off into the Texas Hill
country for a 300+ mile ride in the next weekend
or two. I will thoroughly enjoy it, no doubts.

Received my new Lowrider seat as promised, shipped out
the same day!
Finally finished my '01 Interstate conversion and took
a spin. The seat is wonderful and it certainly doesn't
take 100 miles to get used to. The Ultimate Seat is far more comfortable than
stock. I highly recommend it.

Des, had to tell you that I bought a 4piece set
off of you last year and
my wife and I could not be happier.
We trucked our Valkyrie to Roswell NM and then rode to
Flagstaff AZ.
to
see the Canyon. It was about 700 miles one way and we did
it all in one day. Stopped to gas up or to eat and
potty and then back on the road.
This year we are going to ride all the way on the Val and
do it on as
much
two lane that we can.
We take little cruises about 200 miles at a time and never
and I say
never
get tried of it.
Thank you very much for the most wonderful seats that you
can buy. I
have
had strangers come up to me and asked me about the seats
on the Valkyrie and I can not say enough
about them, and then I give them
your web site and tell them that they will not be sorry.
I guess it

Hey Des,
UPS came today with the BigBoy for my Valk Interstate.
Ordered last Friday, here in the NW burbs of Chicago today.
Better than your estimate of tommorrow or Monday, eh?
Took the SportBarge (her nickname...) out for about 135
miles, and I have to say...it's everything I hoped it would
be. Positions me right, feels great and looks fantastic.
The back rest is the dog's bullocks! It's true what I've
read about your seats, one sits "in" it, and
not on it. I was seriously considering getting a different
bike sometime soon, as I was getting sore way too soon
on rides Too bad I put over 180,000 miles on the inferior
stock and one Mustang seat between two Valks! Now I think
I'll keep the SportBarge a little while longer...we've
bonded in a new and most comfortable way thanks to your
seats.
Thanks for making such a righteous product, and If I make
it to the Valk rally, I'll make sure to stop by and say
hello.

Last year, my girl and I rode our Valkyrie from Pittsburg,
Pennsylvania to Bar Harbor, Maine and back. The total trip
was about 2500 miles, with all the touring we did while
we were there. A couple of the days were 14 hours in the
saddle! Never once did either of us experience any hot
spots or soreness, what-so-ever. 500+ miles in a day is
no problem. When we invested in this product, we got a
masterpiece in rider comfort! We regularly recommend your

Got my new Ultimate Bigboy King for my Valk
yesterday. I read the document that shipped with it which
mentioned
that it would take 100 miles to feel comfortable with
the new seat. In my case, it was more like 100 yards!!

I just wanted to say I couldn't be happier with my seat.
My wife says the same. We rode from northern Virginia to
Daytona Florida and back on our stock seat and when we
got back we immediately ordered our seat. We were impressed
with how fast our seat arrived. It was simple to install
and is so incredibly comfortable. I've sent a picture of
it on my custom Valkyrie. by the way, my brother Mik in
Missouri bought a Goldwing and hated the stock seat. I

I purchased a 4 piece Big Boy setup with
the back rest pouch for my
Valkyrie Interstate today,
from your vendor at Sunshine Mall in Daytona. I was very
impressed
with the service and the
installation. You have very good people there. Now the
best part, I
cannot say enough about
the quality of the seats and the comfort. Normally I run
50 miles and
take a break (Butt Burn)
and ride some more, end up with a sore tail bone etc. by
the time the
ride is over.
I left Daytona with the big boy, and I was astonished,
rode the 150
miles home and never
thought about stopping, felt great. I could run all day
with this
setup, only needing fuel would
cause me to stop. And my better half was impressed also,
very
comfortable to quote her.

Thanks for the awesome seats !!!!!!!!! Aside from UPS nearly hosing up the
deal ( they lost my seats) this was money well spent. Our seats arrived on
Monday, and we left for Cripple Creek ,Colo. that Thursday and never got
to try the seats before hitting the road. We trailered the bike to Albq.
from Carlsbad which turned out to be a smart move (a different story). From
Albq. to Cripple Creek was 425 miles one way. We did that with no stops except
for gas and lunch. Rode another 150 in the mountains in Colo the next day
and then 425 to get back to Albq. We rode 1050 miles in 3 days with 425 of
those in one day twice. PIECE OF CAKE !!!!!!!! These seats are all day suckers
!!!!!!!!!!!
No bun burn, heat rash, cramps or any of the assorted aches and pains of
the past. My wife said she "could ride that seat to the moon".
I agree. I haven't cleaned the bike yet from the trip / rain and when I do,
I'll send
you a pic of another happy Valkyrie rider to add to the list. NOW this bike
is behaving like the real power cruiser it was meant to be.

just wanted to tell you that
my (4) piece Big Boy arrived today.Now i know what all
the hype was about.This seat and workmanship is by far
the best i have seen.I got it installed in 15 min,everything
fit like a glove.I will be on that seat tommorow, and
if it feels anything like it looks i will be a happy
man.It totally changed the look of my bike, and i could
not be HAPPIER !!! thank's for a beautiful quality piece
of craftmanship.I will have my stock passenger backrest
out in the mail tommorow.

Thanks for the awesome seats, we recieved our 4pc, Lowrider set on Thursday.
They are very high quality and unbelievably comfortable. We have only
been able to put about 100 miles on since installed due to the weather.
We are waiting for the weather to give us a break and were gone.
I had no problems with the stock seat for comfort, and neither did my
wife. I was really looking for something to get me a little lower to
the ground. Your seat did just what you said it would. I really like
the feel when I pull up to a stop,much more comfortable and in control.
But I wasn't really expecting your seat to be so much more comfortable
as that wasn't an issue for either of us. Thanks again!

Good Morning,
Just like to write thank you for a great product in
seat for my Valkyrie. My ride during the Honda Hoot
and back home to Charleston South Carolina was most
comfortable outstanding experience. My orginal Honda
Manufacture seat was a good seat, but it does not even
come close to the comfort of this LowRider seat with
the back rest. Since my wife could not attend the Honda
Rally on my return she and I took a 100 mile bike ride.
The ride seat and back rest for her was great. Thank
again for a great product.

Des, I have
to write you again. We did a milage run for a benefit
couple weekends ago. We had from 9am to 6pm to put
on the miles and the one with the most miles wins.
Well...we won! 382 miles on the Ultimate Seats! I think
the next closest person to winning only had 212 miles
on their bike. I know we couldn't have done it without
the Ultimate Seats. Ironically part of the winnings
was a gift bag from a competitor seat maker, we gave
the $50 gift certificate for those seats back to go
in the raffle they had. The guy announcing told them
we had just bought new seats and didn't need the certificate.
He also told them he had tried our Ultimates out himself
on our bike. Said they felt like sitting in a "lazy
boy recliner" and felt like they were already
broke in even though they were new. I think the crowd
already knew the seats had to be very comfortable for
us to be able to get that many miles in to win.
We also just did a 400 mile round trip to the Talimena Drive in SE Oklahoma.About
4 hours ride down then 4 hours back. It was the same trip we took in the spring
on the stocks and I could barely get off the bike let alone stand up at the end
of that ride on the stocks. This time it felt like I had only ridden maybe 100
miles on the Ultimates! I swear these seats have made riding the bike as a passenger
so much more enjoyable I hate to see the ride end!!! We are seriously thinking
of going to Colorado next July now we know the Ultimates will carry us comfortably
anywhere we go!

just wanted to let you know how I got along with the King seat for my I/S that
I bought from you in Paducah.I put the seat on just in time to leave for Sturgis.I
rode 800 miles straight to get there and then came home making the 800 mile trip
in 11 1/2 hours and my butt could have kept right on going with no burn or numbness
whatsoever.I really like the big boy but this King seat really worked out great
for me.I put the Utopia backrest on with it.
I want to Thank You for getting it built and shipped to me in time to take it
to Sturgis in such a short time.As always you have a great product along with
great service!As soon as I get my Ultimate bigboy sold I plan on ordering another
King seat for my Tourer.

Last year I got my seat with the back rest from you, this year I got
to
put
on some miles on it. Like 2250 miles from Pgh.PA to Deals gap, N.C. to
ride
the dragon tail. It was like in a rocker chair. And I got lower back
problems. Put with your seat, it is a big lazy boy chair. No problems.

I just wanted to tell you how happy
my wife and I are with the seats on our Valkyrie trike.
We just came back
from a trip to Colorado on which on did two 500 mile
days a 650 mile day and a 680 mile day. The seats are
the best we ever owned, and we have had a few top name
brand seats. Also I want to thank you for the extra material
you sent for the area between the trunk and the passenger
seat. I had a friend sew up a pad and I attached it with
Velcro. It looks great. I’m attaching
a picture taken in
Estes Park, Colorado. Again thanks for a great product.

The Big Boy 4 piece set of seats you installed on Saturday June 19/04
are the most comfortable seats I have ever ridden withor sat on. I have
went for a ride every night since having them installed and I now get
off my bike with no stiff back (thanks to the seat and drivers back rest).
I have had nothing but compliments for the seats and design work you
put on them.

Barry & Des: Barry, Thanks for recommending Ultimate Seats. Des,
Thanks for having put so much into developing a superb product. We just
returned from the Indiana, Ohio, Michigan Goldwing spring warm-up at
Bloomington, Indiana. My wife has arthritis of the spine and we spent
about 41/2 hours on the bike today with no side effects. Thirty minutes
on the original seat was usually her pain threshold. I had many positive
comments about the seats, but not many Valkyries there(not like HomeComing).
On a whim, I entered Clyde (Clydesdale...big iron horse) in the bike
show as a stock '97 Valkyrie Tourer. Although I was the only entry in
that class and won first place, no stock Valkyrie would be able to overcome
the effect of the new seats. BEAUTIFUL!!!! I am attaching a picture of
Clyde (license plate "SIXPAQ"). Thanks to both of you for returning
the joy of riding.

I want to thank you for a great
saddle. Not only is it very stylish but it feels great.
It definitely drops me an inch lower to the ground
which make for a much safer ride. I actually feel one
with the bike instead of a rider sitting on a motorcycle.
At one point, I was thinking on selling the bike because
it was too heavy and hard to handle when coming to
a stop. That all changed as crazy as it must sound.
I just can't explain how satisfied I am of this saddle.

I received my ultimate seat today and put it on immediately. I tried
the
bike and truly cannot believe how comfortable this seat is. It is absolutely
wonderful and feels like an armchair.

I wanted to write and thank you very much for the COMFORTABLE and quality seats
you provided. I recently purchased the BigBoy driver and Passenger seat.
My wife was your biggest skeptic!! She didn't believe that the seats could
be any more comfortable than stock. She insisted that we ride as much as
possible during the 14 day return period as she was expecting to have me
return them and try something else. Well, I was happy to oblige her!!. The
day after we received the seats, we took off and rode for 675 miles in three
days. Not long by most standards, but a whole lot further than we had ever
been able to ride before. After just a couple of hours in the saddle, she
proclaimed the Ultimate seats a success!!
They are quality made and they look great. Thanks for helping me with the shipping
options and getting the seat to me quickly. I pass your name and web site along
to anybody who asks about the seat.

Here is a couple of pics of
my wife's VTX with her new seat on it. We just got back last week from
a 1700 miles trip from Ohio down to Deal's Gap, The Smokey Mount. National
Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Our first day ride was 410 miles and
our return ride was 460 miles in one day, with all the other rides of
at least 200 miles or more. Her seat performed GREAT! It fits her well
and as you can see by the pictures it looks GREAT too! By the way, my
Ultimate big boy did a fantastic job too! Thanks for building the perfect
motorcycle seat.

I just completed a 2700 mile trek with the wife and some friends from
Oklahoma throughout Colorado and SE Utah. In all those miles NOT ONCE
did I experience any back fatigue or sore saddle as I have in the past

I had to post this. I know its been
said before, but I am so happy with my seat.
I got my Ultimate Seat in Tuesday afternoon. I put it on and took a ride
that night and what a difference!!! That seat is so much more superior
to the stock seat. Des sent me a "big boy" seat by accident.
I was supposed to get a "lowrider", but the big boy is great!
Des gave me a break since it was his mistake and did not charge me the
larger seat. Des was professional and polite through the the entire process.
I dont think I could be any happier. It was well worth the money! It
looks great to boot.

know the seat did a fantastic job on the trip to Key
West!
I put 2,281 miles on that saddle in less than three days (1,200 of those
in one day!), felt like a nice easy chair!

It is about time that I write to you about your seat. I'm 6' & 220
lbs. and I ordered the Ultimate Big-Boy. I rode the heck out of this
seat because I could not believe the comfort that this seat produced.
Each time I rode it, it became more comfortable. I put my wife on it
for the Ultimate Big-Boy TEST. We rode 875 miles and she fell asleep-
- - TWICE!.This from a woman who got numb-buns before the tank was dry
before the switchover to your seat. She now stays in her seat while I
fill up! She is also a much better passenger because she sits in the
sit instead of on it, so she does not slide all around during the twisties.
She also states that she can use the passenger backrest whereas before
it was awkward. Why did I wait so long to purchase this MIRACLE? If any
of the readers are asking the same thing- - - - - - JUST DO IT !!! You'll
never think twice about it: - - - - You to will wonder why you waited!

I have about 1000 miles on my new seat so far, and
I LOVE it! So does my passenger. She comments about
it almost every ride, especially the longer ones.
People comment on how well it looks, which always
touches a biker's heart. This has been a great seat,
and well worth the investment. People ask me about
getting one. Do you make them for any bikes besides
Valkyrie and VTX?

I am very pleased with the seat you made for me. It was more than I expected.
My wife was exceptionally pleased with the back seat compared to the stock
back seat. There truly is no comarison. The Ultimate Seat fit my 99' Valkyrie

I installed a driver and passenger Ultimate Seats on my 1998 Valkyire back
in November of 2002. I just got back from a 2,264 mile trip in 5 days.
There was no numb butt the entire trip.It really is The Ultimate Seat.

Des,
The seat arrived yesterday. Thanks for the very fast delivery. As advertised
the installation was incredibly easy. The seat looks great and to be
able to plant both feet flat on the ground is a joy!!
In addition the new seat did several other things. Since it dropped the
seat height my eyes are now completely below the top edge of the windshield
where as
before the edge of the windshield was right at eye level causing me to
constantly move my head up or down depending on the terrain.
The backrest increased the amount of body contact on the bike so that it's
very easy to
transfer weight around to make turns. Finally, and this was a very pleasant
and fun surprise, the bike handles very different now due to the lower
center of gravity; while she's still no sport bike, she handles turns much
quicker now.
I've got a 2000 mile ride coming up in two weeks. The seat will get quite
the workout.
I will drop the original passenger backrest in the mail on Saturday at
the latest.
Again, thanks. The seat was worth every penny.

Our seat arrived this afternoon. Installation
took only a few minutes. We went for our first test ride
( about 20 min.) and both my wife and I thought our behinds
had gone to heaven. I'll be doing a three day road trip
( to Deals Gap ) this weekend so your shipping timing

It's late Wednesday afternoon and my neighbor just dropped off the Ultimate
Saddle you shipped to me yesterday by UPS. It's exactly what I was
expecting as far as appearance and quality workmanship, outstanding
a beautifully made saddle that I'm sure will be as comfortable as it
looks!
Des, I can't even come close to expressing the proper words of thanks for
everything you've done for me. It's appreciated much more then you can
imagine! Wish there was someway I could re-pay you for all you've done
but except for continuing to support and recommending the saddle to all
that see or ask about it can't see how. Please, if
there's anything I can do let me know.
Tomorrow rain, but I'm still going to install the new saddle so it's ready
to go. Heck even with the rain I'll sit on it and enjoy it's comfort knowing
it was built by a man who cares about others! :)))

| Just opened the box and inspected the
seats. You shouldn't consider yourself a craftsman, you're
an "ARTIST". These are by far the most beautifully
constructed seats I've ever seen. The eye for detail
and meticulous workmanship you put into your product
shows me that you have a real passion for what you do.
I am looking forward to meeting you this summer at one of the
rallies and to have the privilege of shaking the hand of such
a talented artisan. The only regret I have is not knowing of
you sooner.

Des, I would like to thank you for designing
what HAS to be the finest seat on the market. I put my
new Bigboy on last night, (I must add thanks for exchanging
the Lowrider), and gave myself the day off today to take
a good long ride. 220 miles without really going anywhere
in particular, and my ride never felt so good! Your seat
even helps dampen some of the "gotcha" bumps
that sneak up from frost heaves here in the spring. Looks?
I got comments everywhere I stopped. You definitely named
your seats correctly, it is THE ULTIMATE!

OK yesterday. Fits like a glove on my I/S. Excellent
quality, and WOW, much easier reach to the ground vs
my Corbin Dual Touring saddle. No more sliding up to
the tank on hard stops either! Looking forward to taking
a long trip on this one. Great stitching on the face
as well. The picture on your web site doesn't do it justice.

Received the seats pryor to Daytona
2003 and had a chance to test it on the trip from
Durham, NC. Impressive, comfortable are only the
beginning words to describe how well the seats perform
and look. Rode them approx. 590 miles and felt great
after comparing the ride on the stock seat. Again,
thanks for the relief as well as the product, worth
the money invested. I would strongly recommend this
seat to any rider.

Ultimate seats are great. I have always enjoyed riding
my Valkyrie, but I can truthfully say that riding with
your seats installed is the first time I have been really

Des, Thanx, can't say enough about the
Ultimate! It's everything I heard it was, plus more.
Took a 3 day 800 miler last week, and felt like 400-500
mile days wouldn't be a problem. It also gets high grades
from S.O. I'm putting the word out here about it. Have
had inquiries about the Ultimate for other bikes. Do
you currently have any plans for other than the F6? Thanx

Des!!!!! I love you! We got the seat
yesterday, and Dennis put in on this morning. He gave
me a ride to get my nails done, and I am in love with
it. Especially now that I am having some major problems
with the RA in my hips. It seems to have settled in the
bones that one sits on and there is something going on
with the SI joint(?). I told my PT about you and he wants
to see this super seat you make. Dennis said he may want
to go ahead and order the seat for him. Can you give
me the price for it? He will get in touch with you when

Hi Des, I had to send you an e-mail about
the seat. It arrived today, (Friday) at about 11:30am.
It took me all of about five minutes to install it. My
wife and I just got back home from about a 250 mile ride
with some friends. The seat is GREAT! Thanks for a wonderful
seat, I'm looking forward to many miles of riding pleasure.

Des I got the seat today. The installation
was ok getting to that back bolt on the back seat was
not a whole lot of fun but I got it on. It was raining
so I didn't think I'd get to try her our today but it
stopped raining and I took her out. MAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
what a difference!!!!!!!:):):) I had to adjust the handle
bars but for the first time since I've had her I really
felt I was in control of her. Man that back rest is awesome!
between being able to reach my highway board and the
back rest you have a real danger of falling asleep. What
a great product thank you ever so much. Once again you
have made an entire family very happy.

What can I tell you my friend ? Riding
back to New Jersey was FIRST TIME COMFORTABLE trip since
I have this bike !!! Combination of superb look , quality
, ergonomics makes me finally happy man . Well – keep
going with your great , great saddles for small and big
VALKYRIE RIDERS . Making people happy is a nice job .

My wife has a back injury we couldn't
ride 150 mile a day without me helping her off the bike.
We put on the Ultimate seat on my 2001 Interstate in
July. We rode 495 miles last weekend with no problems
other than a little stiffness. Thanks to Des and his
fine product we will be on the rode alot more than we
were ever able to be before.
